The Kardashian/Jenner’s are probably some of the most famous faces in the world. Where ever they go, it does not take long for the paparazzi to show up and cameras start flashing. And of course, everything that is said, is “on-the-record”. Even though the adults in the family know how to handle the press, the kids don’t. The Kyle Cosmetics founder, Kylie Jenner, recently opened up in an interview with The New York Times, saying that it is her “responsibility” to “protect” her six-year-old daughter from media exposure.
“We can’t do that to her,” the mother-of-two told the outlet in terms of quoting her daughter as she entered the room during the interview. “She’s innocent.”
Jenner added, “She comes in here, and she doesn’t know we’re doing an interview and then she has these quotes out in the open and she’s 6 years old. It’s my responsibility to protect her.”
Elsewhere in the interview, the 26-year-old credited her two-year-old son, Aire, with influencing her fashion style.
“It takes me a while after I have a baby to feel like myself again,” she said in her interview. “Then you get your body back, and you’re like, ‘Wait, the trends have changed.’ “
Jenner is unquestionably gearing her daughter to become as knowledgeable and competent as she possibly can be in the world in which she is growing. Last year, the entrepreneur allowed her daughter to accompany her to London for a new display opening at the famed Harrods department store.
“It means so much to me that my daughter, she could be here and see these displays with me and travel the world,” Jenner said in a confessional moment on a past episode of the Hulu series, The Kardashians, about her work travels with her daughter.
Jenner shares both of her two children with her ex, 32-year-old “Astroworld” rapper, Travis Scott.
