The popular Nickelodeon animated series, The Loud House, has just gained a new voice cast member. Major congratulations are in order for Kyrie McAlpin as she has now joined The Loud House family as cousin Shelby Loud.
“I am honored to say I have officially joined the @nickelodeon family,” the talented young actress captioned an Instagram post, announcing the exciting news.
She continued, “I am proud to use my voice on another major platform, voicing the role of Shelby Loud on the show @nicktheloudhouse Thank you to my team, @agentmelissabb @cesdvoiceover @pedro_tapia___ @ashleylanedoss for always going above and beyond for me.”
McAlpin concluded her post, thanking God for all of his many blessings in her life, quoting a favorite Bible verse.

If McAlpin’s name sounds familiar, than it should. The talented actress has a super impressive resume that spans a few years of impressive roles that include starring in the Disney Plus reboot, Cheaper By The Dozen, Blackjack Christmas, and voicing the role of Emma Pine in the animated series, Doug Unplugs, among others.
In addition to her successful acting career, this young rising star is also a model, writer, dancer, and singer. However, when she is not busy with her career, McAlpin told Girls’ Life in a previous interview that her go-to downtime activities are “meditation and cooking”.
“Meditation calms me down when I just need some “me” time. And cooking!”

The Loud House is series created by Chris Savino that premiered on Nickelodeon on May 2, 2016. The series revolves around the chaotic everyday life of a boy named Lincoln Loud, who is the middle child and only son in a large family of 11 children. The show’s action is set in a fictional town in southeastern Michigan called Royal Woods. The series is based on Savino’s own childhood growing up in a large family, and its animation is largely influenced by newspaper comic strips. The Loud House, in addition to being an animated series, has morphed into a live action series, entitled, The Really Loud House.
