T.I., along with his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris and their kids, hosted a dinner in honor of T.I.’s groundbreaking album, “Trap Muzik” on December 12, 2023, in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Harris’ have a large blended family that includes seven children — Zonnique, 27, Messiah, 23, Domani, 22, Deyjah, 22, King, 18, Major, 15, and Heiress, 7.
During the celebration, T.I.’s talented kids paid homage to him by delivering stellar performances of some of his iconic tracks from the groundbreaking album.
Zonnique, accompanied by Messiah on guitar, wowed the audience with a rendition of “Rubber Band Man.” Sharing her excitement on Instagram, Zonnique expressed, “I was more than excited to do this.”
Domani and King joined forces for a dynamic performance of “Be Easy,” while the youngest member, Heiress, enchanted everyone with her rendition of “Live Your Life”from T.I.’s Paper Trail album.
Released on August 19, 2003, “Trap Muzik” wasn’t just an album; it was a cultural shift in the hip-hop landscape. The project introduced us to chart-toppers like “24,” “Be Easy,” “Rubber Band Man,” and “Let’s Get Away,” securing T.I.’s place in the annals of musical history. The album marked a departure from the crunk era, offering a fresh focus on narratives that resonated with the Southern experience.
In continued celebration of the 20th Anniversary of “Trap Muzik,” T.I. and his family are set to host another event titled “T.I.: A Night Celebrating 20 Years of Trap Muzik.”
Set to take place on December 28th and 29th at the esteemed Atlanta Symphony Hall, this promises to be more than just a concert – it’s a fusion of classic and contemporary. The Atlanta Pops Orchestra, deeply embedded in the city’s cultural fabric, will collaborate with T.I., creating a symphonic experience intertwined with the raw energy of Trap Muzik.
