Porsha Williams-Guobadia and ex-Dennis McKinley are showing the world how to positively co-parent. Recently,the pair took their four-year-old daughter Pilar Jhena “PJ” McKinley tridk-or-treating.
Porsha posted a carousel of images on Instagram from Halloween, recapping the holiday fun as she and McKinley were merely “living in Pilar’s world.”
“We live in Pilar’s aka Cat Police’s world @pilarjhena @busybeingbales @lodwill @drahjee workwincelebrate #CoParents Costumes were Pilar’s idea lol P & P Patrol – loved it,” she captioned the post.
PJ is the couple’s only child. Their relationship ended approximately three years ago because of infidelity and unresolved communication problems.
Despite their separation, Williams and McKinley have unquestionably remained active in each other’s lives as a result of wanting to both be present for their little girl. The duo regularly post on social media about PJ’s milestones in order to ensure that they are keeping each other informed, successfully demonstrating a healthy co-parenting relationship.
Recently, in an exclusive interview with People Magazine, Williams Guobadia told the entertainment news outlet that her daughter was “the reason why I do everything.”
“… Having a daughter, having a child, period, for most moms, she’s just the light of my life. She is the reason why I do everything. And for me, whenever I go out there in the world, I try to represent for her and be the best mom out there.”
Williams-Goubadia continued in the interview discussing her new partnership with Nivea for their new Nivea Skin Firming Melanin Beauty & Hydration Body Lotion with Q10. The reality star said that the reason why she was drawn to this particular campaign is “because it is all for melanin beauties, and that is me.”
Additionally, she said that a campaign of such stature would allow Pilar to “see her mom being strong” and representing women of color in a positive way.
