Gucci Mane just dropped his 16th studio album, “Breath of Fresh Air”. The album marks a departure from his previous work and delves into the rapper’s personal life, with a particular focus on family.
The album’s cover art reflects this newfound emphasis, prominently featuring Gucci Mane, his wife Keyshia Ka’oir, and their two kids, Ice and Iceland. In a series of recently released photos, the family of four can be seen donning lavish Chinchilla fur coats while promoting the latest project.
“Happy 1017 Day. Breath of fresh air out now,” Gucci shared on Instagram.
Breath of Fresh Air is a 24-track album that featuring collaborations with top artists like Lil Baby, J. Cole, Kodak Black and more. The album also boasts contributions from top-tier producers such as London On Da Track, Zaytoven, to name a few.
Speaking about his new album on “New Music Daily Radio,” Gucci shared his motivation for the project, saying, “I’m just not in the mood to hear a whole bunch of drilling and killing and this and that.”
He added, “not saying that I haven’t did that before, but just right now, just let me just kind of lead by example and show people that it is more to rap about than my opps and all that.”
Furthermore, Gucci Mane emphasized his desire to explore different aspects of life through his music, stating, “You can rap about going out to eat with your girl or your wife.”
Gucci and his wife, Keyshia Ka’oir, have been married since 2017 and have two children, their son born in 2020 and their daughter born in February.
“And that’s what all the songs are about. I’m not saying all about the same thing, but that’s what I’m kind of trying to get off. And a lot of artists I see rap about the pain in they life, but me through my career, a lot of times, I do a lot of rapping about cars and jewelry and just extravagance,” he added.
