Chrisean Rock has had a change of heart when it comes to her son’s name. Recently, the musician and reality star shared in an Instagram story that she has officially changed her son’s name from Chrisean Jr. to that of, Jonathan Jamall Porter Jr. after his father, BlueFace.

“Yes, n***a, I’m changing his name,” Chrisean Rock explains in the Instagram Live. “Yes, I’m changing his name. I gotta accept it, too. I was f****n’ with Chrisean Malone but then I realized Malone is not… It’s not about to be that.”
She continued, “I want it to be Jonathan Jamall Porter Jr. He has two sons but he don’t got a junior yet. I don’t like it. I don’t like it like that. It’s kind of mean. I’m telling you, I can’t stay mean forever. I’m a very forgiving person. Plus, that’s my baby daddy.”
It should not come as much of a surprise to all that Chrisean Rock is making this move. Recently, she set the internet a buzz after sharing photos featuring BlueFace and his son.
In a caption accompanying the series of photos, she wrote, “Daddy and I @bluefasebabyy.”
The 23-year-old wrote in the comments section, “My babies.”
The couple is known for their rocky on-and-off-again relationship. That is one of the main reasons why Rock decided to name the baby after herself, earlier this month dedicating her son to the church. Rock chose the middle name of “Jesus” at the time for her son.
At the time of his son’s birth, BlueFace posted on social media his immediate disapproval of the fact that he was a “junior” to his mother.
“I actually feel bad for my son at this point he’s a junior to his mom he don’t gotta be named after me but at least put some thought into it that was some quick last minute….what do you want to name him uhm just write down [Chrisean] Malone smh. Should have just named the baby ‘clout’ would have been more meaningful.”
Hopefully, this name change signals a true truce for the couple. We hope that they can put their differences aside and learn how to co-parent and do what is best for their adorable baby boy.
