Jeezy and Jeannie Mai have reportedly decided to part ways roughly two and a half years after the two were married in Atlanta.
According to a report from the the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Jeezy filed papers in Fulton County Superior Court on Thursday and is seeking joint custody of their daughter Monaco Mai.
The news comes as a surprise as Jeannie Mai recently shared a heartwarming tribute to her husband after he became a New York Times best-selling author.

Jeannie also posted on her daughter’s Instagram with a sweet message:

On January 11, 2022, Jeezy and Jeannie welcomed their daughter, Monaco Mai-Jenkins, who is now 1 year old.
While Monaco is the estranged couple’s first child together, Jeezy also has three children from previous relationships named Shyheim, Jadarius, and Amra Nor.
