“Gotta love date night,” Serena shared along with a picture of herself smiling while receiving affection from her husband. Fans took note of the retired tennis player’s complete joy.
“He brings the biggest smile out of her every time,” one Instagram follower noted. “I love this couple.” Another supporter said, “Mom and Dad are looking ready for a great date night before becoming a family of four. That’s the best.”
Alexis Ohanian and Serena Williams shared news of their family’s expansion earlier this year. The announcement came months after Serena shared her decision to retire from playing tennis professionally to give her daughter, Alexis Olympia, a younger sibling.

“Sometimes before bed, she prays to Jehovah to bring her a baby sister. (She doesn’t want anything to do with a boy!),” Serena wrote in an op-ed published by Vogue. “I’m the youngest of five sisters myself, and my sisters are my heroes, so this has felt like a moment I need to listen very carefully to,” the star athlete shared.
“I never wanted to have to choose between tennis and a family. I don’t think it’s fair,” Williams told Vogue readers. “If I were a guy, I wouldn’t be writing this because I’d be out there playing and winning while my wife was doing the physical labor of expanding our family,” Serena noted.

In sharing the sentiment of “something” needing to give way, Williams moved to give up tennis for a more domestic life. She has taken fans along for the ride of her second pregnancy journey since sharing the news of her family’s expansion.
In fact, it was just a few weeks ago that Alexis and Serena revealed the gender of their second child to be a girl. “I knew she was having a girl,” wrote one fan on Instagram. “Olympia is getting a sister,” exclaimed another.
