Kylie Jenner is full of advice. In the season finale of her hit Hulu series, The Kardashians, the Kylie Cosmetics founder gave sage advice, to her best friend Anastasia “Stassie” Karanikolaou, on naming her future children. The 25-year-old said that postpartum caused her to name her son Wolf.
“The advice I would give to you is: find your name before your hormones start raging and you have the child. It was the hormones that took me out,” Jenner told Karanikolaou. She continued saying, “It was like, ‘I’m too emotional. He’s so special to me. There’s not a name good enough for him.”
Jenner admits “crying in the shower” because she didn’t like her son’s name as she wanted to name him something meaningful like “Aire”. The mother-of-two explained that “[Aire is] a Hebrew name. It means ‘Lion of God.'”
Aire’s name was officially and legally changed on June 22, 2023. In a confessional moment, Jenner shared that, “I didn’t realize the postpartum would hit me that hard. I never called him Wolf, ever. And then the second, that night, I cried in the shower.”
She continued, “That’s not his name. What did I just do? Wolf? Someone just told me this 24 hours ago, to name my son Wolf! It wasn’t even on the list!”
