Keke Wyatt’s son, Ke’Zyah, is back in the hosptital once more. On Monday, the singer took to social media to share the distressing news that her son was experiencing severe seizures, causing him to turn blue.
“So my sugar bears back in the hospital. He’s having crazy seizures and turning blue. Is anyone else going through this??? Is this normal for a seizure???Plz help if u have answers!!! I thank GOD for his nurses. Our new family…”
Keke Wyatt has been dealing with her son’s recurring illnesses, including pneumonia and various other ailments since his birth. Recently, Wyatt touched the hearts of her followers by sharing a touching clip on social media. The video showcases Keke singing a heartfelt lullaby to her sick son, Ke’Zyah, who was admitted to the hospital due to pneumonia affecting his left lung.
In the video, Keke gazes lovingly at her son while singing the well-known melody of “You Are My Sunshine,” with modified lyrics that reflect the moment: “Please don’t let my sunshine fade away.”
Ke’Zyah was born last June with the genetic disorder Trisomy 13, a condition that is usually fatal within the first year of life. Keke Wyatt and her husband, Zackariah Darring, chose not to follow the doctor’s recommendation to terminate the pregnancy, instead relying on their faith.
In a social media statement, Keke encouraged other parents facing similar circumstances to seek divine guidance before making any final decisions. She shared, “We appreciate and thank God for all of the doctors in the medical field. However, I can’t stress enough to all mothers and couples, when the doctor gives you life-changing information about your unborn child … pray about it, use faith, and follow your spirit before making ANY final decision,” Keke shared shortly after her son’s birth.
Adding, “We believed the report of the Lord, and after holding our beautiful healthy baby boy Ke’Zyah and looking into his eyes, I’m glad we did.”
Despite the ongoing health struggles faced by Ke’Zyah, Keke Wyatt and her husband remain unwavering in their faith, continually praying for their son’s recovery.
