Jason Derulo’s son Jason King unquestionably had a second birthday party to remember. And of course, as expected, the toddler-party-of-the-year came with an exceptional price tag that has left many scratching their heads. Jason Derulo spent $30,000 on his son’s second birthday party.
The “Savage Love” singer posted a sweet message to his son on Instagram in celebration of Jason’s special day.
“Happy 2nd birthday to @jasonking! Two years ago, you entered my life and brought endless love, laughter, and mischief. From the adorable chaos of the terrible twos to the heart-melting moments that fill my days, you’ve stolen my heart in the most craziest way. Today, we celebrate the incredible journey of your life, filled with wild adventures, and unstoppable growth,” DeRulo wrote.
He continued, “May your special day be filled with double the giggles, double the snuggles, and double the joy. You are our greatest blessing, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for our little shining star. Happy birthday, Bubba! @jenafrumes @crystal_bartenders @lilmunchkinsplayground @balloonstudiola @savagetacostruck @honest.”
The “Sing Your Name Out Loud” author recently appeared on an Australian radio show where he chatted about the extravagant festivities.
Host Kyle Sandilands asked Derulo straight out about the party’s price tag. “That didn’t look like a cheap party! How much did it cost?”
The 33-year-old responded, “It was pretty big. It was probably around $30,000.”
The shark-themed celebration featured an enormous bounce house, a full playground, and a ball pit with, not one, but two slides.
Derulo shares the two-year-old with 29-year-old Jena Fumes.
In a 2021 interview, regrading co-parenting with People Magazine, Derulo tells the popular entertainment news/parenting outlet that he and Fumes have an “amazing relationship”.
“We have an amazing relationship, and we don’t care if we’re confusing people about our situation because our situation is our situation. We love [our son] more than anything, and his wellbeing is really important to us,” Derulo said in the interview.
He added, “I’m really attentive of her wellbeing as well, and I want her to be good. I care about her a lot. We have an amazing relationship, contrary to a lot of people’s beliefs.”
If this is how Derulo celebrates birthday number two, then we cannot wait to see how he rings in number three!
