Jesseca Harris-Dupart and Da Brat have an update on their pregnancy. The celebrity couple took to Instagram on Thursday (Jun. 16) to reveal how they are preparing for their labor and delivery experience.
“Our due date is 7/27,” Da Brat and Judy shared. “Our doctor said that we can safely do it at 38 weeks as we are a mature age for pregnancy, which would be 7/13,” the celebrity couple added. “Well, last night we came here to the hospital and are trying to keep him in at least another two weeks but he may have other plans.”
Da Brat and Judy danced to a song by Gracie’s Corner to keep their spirits high in the video clip. It was evident that the celebrity couple was in a hospital room.
“Praying for a safe delivery whenever he comes,” one fan said after viewing the video clip uploaded by Da Brat and Judy. “I love it,” another supporter exclaimed. “Thanks for sharing your lives with us and your authentic selves,” the fan added.
Da Brat and Judy have received overwhelming support since announcing their expectancy at the beginning of this year. The celebrity couple faced a bit of backlash after revealing their decision to use a White sperm donor. Some Internet trolls even accused Da Brat and Judy of anti-Blackness. The Reality TV stars addressed the controversy during a segment on The Tamron Hall Show.
“I didn’t think it would be offensive to anybody,” Da Brat shared in reference to a joke she made about her and Judy’s donor not being Black on the reality show, Brat Loves Judy.
“I cracked jokes about almost everybody that I saw, that one just happened to make it in the show,” Brat added. “I wasn’t trying to be mean or say anything negative about Black people,” the entertainer assured her fans and foes.
Da Brat and Judy’s son will be their first together.
