Nick Cannon’s twin sons, Zion and Zillion, with Abby De La Rosa are two years old! The celebrity father took to Instagram on Wednesday (Jun. 14) to celebrate his sons’ birthday.
“Can’t believe it’s been 2 years already,” Nick exclaimed. “Zillion and Zion, the world is yours,” the celebrity dad wrote to his little ones. “I love you so much,” Cannon added. “Happy birthday sons!”
Abby De La Rosa, the mother of Zion and Zillion, also shared her heartfelt wishes for her sons.
“My prayer for my sons is god continue to be the potter unto all their gifts that they will bless this world with one day. That he may continue to mold them, prepare them, and guide them all the days of their lives, including our daughter, Beautiful. Happy birthday boys. God really outdid himself when creating you two,” Abby wrote.
During a recent interview with ET Canada, Nick Cannon opened up about the profound impact fatherhood has had on him.
“I probably take [fatherhood] more seriously than when I first had my oldest, our twins,” Nick shared during a recent interview with ET Canada. “You’re so excited about the blessing of it, but then as they get older, you start to see how it changes you and allows you to zone in and focus,” the celebrity father shared with the media.
“They’re not yours, you just have jurisdiction over them for about 18-20 somewhat years,” Cannon said of parenting. “Then that becomes like, ‘Oh wow, it’s a privilege to do this,’” he shared. “And it is a responsibility,” Nick declared.
Cannon further shared his beliefs about parenting. “As much as I’d like to say it’s an accomplishment, like I did something, no, God let me borrow for a minute,” the celebrity father said of him having twelve children in all.
“The fact that I was a part of that process is crazy,” Nick revealed. “It changes you but it also gives you a whole different perspective on the world because now you get to see the world through the eyes of young people.”
Nick shares three kids with Abby De La Rosa and has 12 kids in all.
