DC Young Fly is reliant on his faith in God to carry him down the road that lies ahead. The comedian took to Instagram on Friday (Jun. 8) to express his thoughts following the death of his partner, MsJackyOh.
“I wasn’t in no rush to post this because I wanted it to be a dream so bad but every hour I’m reminded of reality so I wanna make sure I applaud you in the proper manner,” DC Young Fly began.
“You are the greatest mother I know,” the comedian wrote to the mother of his children. “Your soul was beautiful,” DC wrote to Jacky. “Yu (sic) always wanted the best for others and I admired how our family love each other! [I] never had to worry about our kids loving each other ‘cause you were on top of dat (sic)!”
MsJackyOh died on May 31, 2023, after suffering complications related to a mommy makeover cosmetic surgery session. The celebrity mom uploaded a video of her adventure to see The Little Mermaid with her daughters days prior to her death.
“You kno (sic) we [are] God-fearing and we are grounded by the spirit,” DC Young Fly shared in his open letter. “We never question the Higher Power,” he added. “We roll wit[h] the punches and continue to live righteous,” DC declared.
“[I] will always tell our kids how much [of] an amazing person you were. [You were] especially a great mother,” the celebrity father wrote to his late girlfriend.
“You know how our last convo went,” DC Young Fly wrote to MsJackyOh in his tribute. “I prayed for Yu (sic) and now we are here,” he shared. “But it’s okay,” the comedian continued. “We will continue to pray and hold on to our faith because that’s all we kno[w],” DC shared.
“Love you forever and our kids are super strong. They [are] helpin[g] me wit[h] my tranquility no Kap! [You are] wit[h] me forever. The Queen of my children will always have a spot in my heart and the paradise.”
