Grete and Robert Griffin III are over the moon with excitement as their youngest daughter, Gia, turned four months old on Monday (May 22). The celebrity parents took to Instagram with pictures of their baby girl.
“Gia turned four months [old] today,” Robert said. Grete echoed the sentiments of her husband with a similar Instagram caption. “Four months of nothing but love and snuggles,” the doting mom declared.
Robert and Grete Griffin welcomed their daughter in January. Gia arrived weeks after she gave her mom and dad a false alarm that caused Robert to abruptly leave a New Year’s Eve broadcasting gig. Grete praised her husband after the turn of events.
“First off let’s start by saying that even though baby girl tried to make a dramatic entrance last night into 2023, she decided it wasn’t time yet,” Grete said of her labor and delivery false alarm. “Secondly, let’s talk about my husband,” Mrs. Griffin shared.
“I gave him a call in the middle of him being on live TV fully expecting to not get a hold of him but I guess when your wife is nine months pregnant and calls you, you answer the phone no matter what you’re doing,” Grete told her social media fans.
“All I had to say was the word ‘labor’ and this man STOPPED CALLING A BOWL GAME and took off sprinting to the car to get to the airport and get on a four-hour flight to make it home,” Mrs. Griffin said of her husband.
“I love you more than life, baby,” Grete wrote to Robert. “I am so beyond grateful for how you love me, care for me, and what you sacrifice for me,” she added. “My HERO.”
Acknowledging sacrifices goes both ways in the Griffin household as Robert took to Instagram to shed light on his wife’s dedication to her family in honor of International Women’s Day.
“Where there is a woman, there is magic,” Griffin shared of his wife. Dozens loved the broadcaster’s social media post as it also celebrated Robert’s daughters.
Robert and Grete Griffin have three daughters – Gia, Gloria, and Gameya – together. Robert also has an older daughter named Reese from a previous relationship.
