In addition to his degree, Muhammad has a long list of other accolades and accomplishments to add to his educational resume.
“I have 10 IBM certifications through Course Zero. I have one Google IT certification. I have four diplomas from Oklahoma City Community College,” the teenager said in a recent interview with KOCO ABC12.
His sister, Shania Muhammad, (15-years-old), who is also a college grad, told the outlet that her younger brother is “the smartest person [she] knows.”
“He is the smartest person I know,” Shania said. “Regardless of if you’re older or not, it’s like I’ve never seen nothing like him.”
Muhammad didn’t quite understand the historical moment behind his degree until his father explained it to him.

“I didn’t really understand the full impact of it until my dad fully explained it and was like, ‘You’re really doing this. You’re the youngest to ever do it.'”
You would think that Muhammad would take a small break, but nope, the teen is continuing on with his studies at Ohio State University.
“I currently attend OSU and am working on my bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity and forensics. I also attend Langston with a 4.0,” Muhammad said.

You would think that all Muhammad does is study; however, that isn’t quite true. His is just as well-rounded as he is smart, making sure to take time to just be a kid.
“As much accomplishments as I have, I still go swimming, go outside, play basketball and still have fun and stuff,” he said in his interview with the ABC affiliate.
Congratulations to both Elijah and Shania. We definitely cannot wait to see what the future holds for the pair of you!
