¿Hablas español? Well, if you don’t Kenya Moore‘s four-year-old daughter, Brooklyn Doris can possibly help you learn. Recently, the actress and reality star raved about how “smart” and “bilingual” her daughter already is, and she hasn’t even set foot into first grade!
“I now have two au pairs, Spanish and French, because I want her to learn both and then eventually Mandarin. But she loves all of it,” the Real Housewife of Atlanta reality told People Magazine in a recent interview. “I want her to be prepared to be a boss, an international boss.”
The former Miss USA continued, “She needs to just be prepared. I want her to have a global mindset. It’s something I didn’t have growing up. I just knew about Detroit and my family and my surroundings,” Moore noted. “But then when I got older and I was introduced to international travel and people from around the world, it was eye-opening and enlightening. I saw the world differently, and I want that for my daughter too.”
Brooklyn Doris is the only child of the 52-year-old and businessman Marc Daly. The couple met through a mutual friend, Chef Roblé Ali, and were married in June 2017, welcoming Brooklyn Doris the following year. After a few years of marriage, the couple separated and are still waiting on their divorce to be finalized.
Moore also told People that her daughter has recently taken a sudden interest in not only her parents’ relationship, but in marriage in general.
“She’s asked me a lot about why I married daddy… I don’t know if she’s getting it from school or from YouTube Kids or something, but she asks a lot of questions about marriage,” Moore said to the popular news outlet. “Like, ‘When did daddy and you get married? Can I see your dress?’ and she wants to see photos and stuff, so I let her.”
She continued, “The other day she said, ‘Oh, so I’m going to pretend to be married when I’m playing’ And I don’t want her to pretend to be married, I don’t know why. I don’t want her to pretend being married or playing doctor. I’m paranoid.”
We cannot wait to see what the future holds for special little young lady. We have no doubt that the Moore is going to make sure that the sky is no where near the limit for her!
