It was a weekend filled with slime as Chanel Iman, Davon Godchaux and their kids spent time at Nickelodeon Hotels Resorts Riviera Maya in Mexico. Over the weekend, Chanel took to Instagram to share pictures from her trip with her blended family.
“Turning childhood dreams into real moments with family,” Chanel told her social media fans. Many supporters were excited to see Chanel and her family experience the signature slime of Nickelodeon.
“Awesome,” one social media follower declared. “Question about the slime, though,” the supporter continued. “Is it just water with food coloring, or is it actually a slimy substance?” One fan said the slime was “a little bit of both” water and a “slimy substance.” Another supporter wrote, “Back in the 90s it was candy.”
Chanel Iman is moving forward to build a blended family with her boyfriend, Davon Godchaux. The relationship comes months after Chanel ended her marriage to Sterling Shepard.
“I think it is so important to celebrate the beauty of love that surrounds motherhood amongst so many different journeys,” Chanel said of her ever-evolving life as a mom during an interview last year.
“I’m so fortunate to have had a mother that was always there for me throughout my life,” Chanel shared with the press. “She made sure I felt unconditionally loved and protected,” the model continued. “I want my daughters to feel this same love, so I make sure to be there for them in every way, just as my mother did for me,” Chanel said of her rearing practices.
“I think motherhood is one of the most fulfilling gifts because it is based on real love,” Iman gushed. “On that note, I would advise new moms to lead with love and do the best they can – no one is perfect. Giving yourself a little grace goes a long way.”
Chanel Iman and Sterling Shepard have two daughters, Cali Clay and Cassie Snow, together. Davon Godchaux has a son named Davon Godchaux II from a previous relationship.
