“The Saturday before I found out there were two different viewers who commented in places and were like ‘Hey, is Janai pregnant?'” Norman shared. “And even that day that I found out I posted a picture that said ‘Caption this’ and somebody said ‘Surprise pregnancy,’” she added. “I don’t know what it is but some viewers just know, so I’m excited to confirm.”
Janai married her husband, Eli Norman, in 2018. The couple welcomed a son in 2017. Janai and Eli’s daughter was born in 2020.
“I’ve been manifesting this,” Janai said of her third expectancy. “I’ve been very open about wanting to have a third,” the GMA co-anchor shared. “Just before I found out I told friends at lunch, ‘I really feel like things are starting to clear out to allow me to welcome the blessing,’” the television personality explained.

Janai welcomed both her son and daughter by way of home births. It may be safe to assume she is planning to do the same for baby number three.
“It went so well and was so beautiful,” the news anchor said of her labor and delivery experience when giving birth to her son in 2017. “I was determined to do it again with my daughter and had an incredible water birth during the pandemic,” the GMA star shared. “People would look at me crazy when I told them it was magical. It truly was.”

Eli and Janai are expecting their bundle of joy to arrive later this year. The doting parents may or may not share pictures of their newborn with the public.
“I chose to be in front of the camera, they have not,” Janai told PEOPLE when addressing why she keeps most family moments that include her kids private. “It’s about consent,” she added.

“But at the same time, my journey through motherhood is so near and dear to me and essential to who I am,’ Norman continued. “I want to share my journey, but be respectful to them and their privacy.”
