Safaree Samuels has been making headlines after gifting Rolex watches to Amara La Negra’s twins at their birthday party
In a viral video shared on social media, Safaree explained why he gifted the expensive watches to the twins.
“I’m doing this because I’m new to Miami and you know ever since I’ve been here, Amara has been a great everything; friend, tour guide, helping me with my Spanish. She’s just been a great business partner,” Safaree shared.
While the gift seemed like a kind gesture, Safaree’s ex-wife, Erica Mena, had a different opinion. Erica criticized Safaree’s parenting skills towards their own children in a scathing post.

She wrote, “The most embarrassing thing is getting things like this from other females, which include videos of your kid crying while he’s claiming how it’s “torture ” to be with his own kid. This waste man contact name is stored by this particular female as Delusional.”
Erica went on to say that Safaree has been playing “sick games” with her kids since August of last year. “Yeah, Y’all know I go hard but this type of hard – for my kids! The whole world gonna feel it. I’m not being quiet about the games that has been played when it comes to my kids anymore. It is what it is. I’m not saving nobody’s face no more.”

Safaree is currently filming with the ‘Love & Hip Hop: Miami’ cast for season 5, and he’s apparently dating Amara La Negra. The two were seen sharing a kiss on the dance floor during the party.
Safaree and Erica tied the knot in 2019, but their marriage came to an end last year when Erica filed for divorce, accusing Safaree of cheating. The divorce was finalized in September 2022, and Safaree was ordered to pay $4300 a month in child support for their two children. Erica also has another child from a previous relationship.
