Actor, model, dancer, and parkour athlete, Isaiah Russell-Bailey is unquestionably one of #younghollywood’s most diverse young talents. If his name looks familiar, but you can’t quite place the face, Bailey has had an amazing career to date. He starred in the Netflix film, We Can Be Heroes, he starred as Shaka on the Netflix comedy, Family Reunion, he has also starred on SWAT, Raven’s Home, Criminal Minds, among others. Now, the 16-year-old is set to star in the new Disney+ sci-fi movie, Crater.
According to JustJaredJr.com, here is what fans should expect to see from the upcoming movie.
The upcoming movie centers on Caleb Channing (Russell-Bailey), who was raised on a lunar mining colony and is about to be permanently relocated to an idyllic faraway planet following the death of his father. But before leaving, to fulfill his dad’s last wish, he and his three best friends, Dylan, Borney and Marcus, and a new arrival from Earth, Addison, hijack a rover for one final adventure on a journey to explore a mysterious crater.
Kyle Patrick-Alvarez is at the helm of this new adventure as director. Shawn Levy and Dan Levine will serve as producers on the project via their 21 Laps Entertainment production company. The project was penned by John Griffin.
In addition to Russell-Bailey, the movie will also star Mckenna Grace as Addison, Billy Barratt as Dylan, Orson Hong as Borney, Thomas Boyce as Marcus and Kid Cudi as Caleb’s father.
Russell-Bailey excitedly posted on Instagram, shouting out to all his castmates and crew:

All sci-fi fans need to definitely make sure to mark their calendars and tune-in. Crater streams non Disney+, May 12th. We have a feeling that this is one upcoming movie, that no one wants to miss!
