Keke Palmer recently shared an adorable family photo on Twitter featuring herself, her boyfriend Darius Jackson, and their newborn son Leodis Andrellton Jackson. The trio were dressed in comfortable pajamas as they cuddled up for the camera, displaying a heartwarming family bond.
Keke and Darius welcomed their first child together last month, and since then, they have been sharing glimpses of their joyous parenthood journey on social media. In her first post-pregnancy Instagram post, Keke introduced her son and revealed the inspiration behind his unique name.
“Hey Son!!!!” Palmer wrote, adding: “Born during Black History Month, with a name to match! LEODIS ANDRELLTON JACKSON welcome to the world baby Leo.”
Just a week after the birth of her son, Keke Palmer took to social media again to share the challenges of being a new mom. She revealed that she was “gettin cooked” by her baby boy, and gave a shoutout to all the single parents out there, acknowledging the immense strength and resilience it takes to raise a child alone.
“If you’re single parent, pull out your cape,” Palmer said. “As a matter of fact, clip off your angel wings, because I don’t know how you do it.”
Adding, “When it comes to raising a kid, I’ve already learned in these short few days that it takes a village. Sometimes that’s a privilege.”
Keke first announced her pregnancy during her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live, where she proudly displayed her baby bump and shared the news with her audience.
“There’s some rumors going around, people have been in my comments saying, ‘Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant,’ and I wanna set the record straight — I am!” Palmer exclaimed during her opening monologue, unbuttoning her long jacket to reveal her baby bump.
Since then, she shared her pregnancy journey on social media, including her baby shower and her preparations for the arrival of her little one.
