Shemar Moore is a doting father. The actor recently took to Instagram to share pictures of his baby girl, Frankie Moore, and to also celebrate his life as a dad.
“Three weeks today,” Shemar said on February 14, 2023. “Thank you Jesiree, Momma Marilyn, and God,” Moore wrote in his social media post.
Shemar became a dad for the first time on January 24, 2023. The actor took to social media to announce the arrival of his baby girl the day after his girlfriend, Jesiree Dizon, gave birth.
“Frankie Moore,” Shemar began his love note. “Baby girl in da (sic) building,” the celebrity father further exclaimed. “Born January 24… at 3:38pm…. 7.1 Pounds… 20 inches…. 10 fingers n 10 toes,” Moore said of his newborn.
“Already the love of my life,” the actor beamed. “I’m a Girl Daddy,” Moore told his social media fans. “Dreams come true,” Shemar exclaimed when speaking of his journey into parenthood. “Grandma Marilyn is in heaven puff puff passing, drinking her wine, and doing her happy dance,” Moore said of his mom, Marilyn Joan-Wilson Moore, who passed away in 2020.
I love and miss you every day, mom,” Shemar wrote to his late mother. “Frankie is gonna grow up to be a KILLA,” the celebrity father told his social media fans. “Watch out world, here comes ‘Frankie Muthaf*kkin Moore.’”
Shemar Moore expressed his desire to be a dad for years before welcoming his daughter with Jesiree Dizon. It was during an interview with Arsenio Hall in 2013 that the actor delved into the possibility of him being ready to settle down and start a family.
“I’m really excited to be a daddy one day,” Moore revealed. “I’m a big ‘ole kid,” he admitted. “I’m only an adult because I have to be an adult, take care of business,” Moore told Hall. “But whenever I have a chance to just have some fun, that’s my thing,” he explained. “When I’m a father, [it won’t be] about me [but] everything [I’ll be] doing [will be] for them.”
Dozens of fans took to the comments section of Shemar Moore’s recent Instagram posts to celebrate his new life as a father. “What a lucky man,” one supporter said. “So precious and cute,” another social media follower wrote.
