We saw tons and tons of videos all over social media where kids were crashing their parent’s Zoom meetings and such. Well, celebrities are not immune. Recently, Drake‘s adorable son Adonis crashes his dad’s interview, on Barstool Sports with Caleb Pressley, and it is hilarious.
During the interview, five-year-old Adonis sheds light on what Aubrey Drake Graham is actually like as a dad and much more.
Pressley jokingly asks Adonis if he thinks his father’s skills are up-to-par in terms of Drake preparing him to read. Well, Adonis’s response was direct and to the point about his feelings on dad’s “school” skills.
“Do you think if he did a better job with you at home that you’d be able to read?”
Without missing a beat, Adonis simply responds, “Yeah.”
However, he goes on to praise one aspect of his father’s parenting skills…Drake’s sense of humor. Come to find out, the “Laugh Now Cry Later” singer actually is a funny guy!
Adonis says, noting that Drake “does a lot of funny jokes. [He’s] a funny dad.”
In the interview, the duo also have a conversation about language skills. If you remember, Sophie Brussaux, Adonis’ mother, is French. So, of course, Adonis is already bilingual. Adonis asks his father if he would like him teach him how to speak “en français.” Drake responded, “Yes, please.” So, Adonis spoke French to his father, having him repeat each word back to him.
At the end of the sentence, Drake asked Adonis what had he said. The five-year-old explained, “I said, ‘When you’re older, you’re all broken, and you’re gonna turn back into space.'”
Drake questioned the translation. “Is that really what you said or are you just making stuff up?”
Adonis didn’t answer the question, and simply laughed.
Drake told his son, “You’re a funny guy.”
It looks like humor runs deep within the Graham family genes!
