PBS Kids had had a long trajectory of creating educational and fun shows for little ones that help them learn the skills that they need to succeed in the present and future. Well, their new series, Work It Out Wombats! is no different than the rest as it will help kids work out and strengthen their computational and problem-solving skills!
So just what can parents and kids expect from this newest addition to the PBS Kids family? Well, here is a brief synopsis of the action according to Romper.com.
The preschool series stars a playful trio of wombat siblings — Malik, Zadie and Zeke — who live with their grandmother, Super, in Treeborhood, a treehouse apartment complex complete with secret passageways, gondolas and rope swings. Alongside snakes, moose, kangaroos, iguanas, fish, tarsiers and eagles, all residents in Treeborhood bring different skills and ways of thinking into their vibrant community and everyone, from children to adults, love to play.
Work It Out Wombats!, will introduce young viewers to computational thinking concepts not only serve as the basis of computer science, but will help kids solve meaningful problems.
“Work It Out Wombats! strikes a perfect balance of telling stories for preschoolers that are educational, fun and engaging,” Luis Lopez, executive producer at Pipeline Studios, said about the program to Romper.com. “[Work It Out Wombats! brings] an exciting world filled with diverse characters to life has been incredibly empowering for our artists and technical talent.”
