Keyshia Ka’Oir Davis continues to defend her family’s right to share what they want online. The businesswoman recently responded to a fan who questioned why she refuses to feature all of her children in Instagram posts.
The scrutiny came after Keyshia’s husband, Gucci Mane, shared pictures and revealed their expectancy of a girl. “The Wop bout to have a daughter,” Gucci told his social media fans. Many were excited about the family’s gender reveal. One fan, however, wondered why Keyshia chose to refrain from sharing a picture that included all of her children instead of a candid that only included her son with Gucci Mane.
“I like them and all but how come they never take family photos with the other kids,” the fan asked in the comments section of an Instagram post shared by The Shade Room. “Every time I see them I think about them Jamaican kids y’all say she hiding.”
Keyshia responded to the comment by saying, “Dem ‘Otha kids’ don’t wanna get posted and they not gonna be posted so guess what!!!? Get used to it! Now carry on.”
The rumor of Keyshia Ka’Oir hiding kids in Jamaica has been ongoing for at least five years. In fact, the businesswoman stopped by The Wendy Williams Show in 2017 to address the speculation.
“I left Jamaica at 10-years-old after seeing my dad be brutally murdered,” Ka’Oir revealed. “I came to America at 10 [years old], [and] did all my schooling here,” she shared. “There’s no way that I would have three kids at 10-years-old. It just doesn’t make sense.”
Despite the scrutiny, Keyshia remains excited about her family’s expansion. She recently shared an Instagram post of herself dressed in white with a caption written to her baby girl. “Mommy can’t wait to meet you,” Keyshia wrote to her daughter.
The Davis family is expecting their bundle of joy to arrive in the coming weeks.
