Tristan Thompson and Maralee Nichols have settled on a child support agreement. The star athlete will give the mother of his youngest son nearly $10,000 per month in financial support.
According to TMZ,
“Tristan Thompson has hammered out a paternity settlement for his second-youngest child — where he’ll shell out monthly … TMZ has learned.
Sources with direct knowledge tell us … Tristan Thompson and Maralee Nichols have agreed to terms for Theo, their 1-year-old son. We’re told Tristan will pay $9,500 a month in child support and also covered some of Nichols’ lawyer fees.”
Tristan Thompson was revealed as the father of Maralee Nichols’ baby last December. The star athlete was in a relationship with Reality TV star Khloè Kardashian at the time.
“I take full responsibility for my actions,” Tristan said of fathering a child outside of his relationship with Khloè. “You don’t deserve this,” Thompson told Kardashian. “You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you,” Tristan told Khloè.
“I have the utmost respect and love for you,” the star athlete said. “Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry.”
Maralee Nichols recently took to Instagram to celebrate her and Tristan’s son, whom she named Theo, on his first birthday.
“I can not believe you are already one,” Maralee wrote to her son. “Spending the past 365 days with you have been the best days of my life,” the fitness guru added. “You are the sweetest little boy, your smile brightens up any room. You are my greatest blessing, my world, my heart in human form.”
Theo is one of three children Tristan Thompson fathers. The professional basketball player also has a son named Prince with Jordan Craig along with his daughter, True, with Khloè Kardashian.
