The agency announced the deal, welcoming the 15-year-old the fold.
Klutch Sports was founded by James’ friend, Rich Paul in 2012. In addition to the 37-year-old Los Angeles Laker, Paul has also signed some of the most talented athletes in the business including: Anthony Davis, Draymond Green, Ben Simmons, Trae Young and Anthony Edwards.
It seems like 2022 is definitely Bryce’s year as just four months ago, the Sierra Canyon high school student received his first Division I Basketball scholarship offer to play basketball at Duquesne University. The talented teen shared the news on an Instagram Story, writing alongside the Duquesne’s logo, “Blessed to receive my first d1 offer from Duquesne #godukes.”
According to Sports Illustrated, there is a connection between the James family and Duquesne University. The team’s head coach Keith Dambrot, as luck would have it, previously coached LeBron James when he was a student at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio. Dru Joyce III, an assistant coach for the Duquesne University team, was James’ high school teammate.
And of course, at the time, the NBA legend shared his son’s story on his own social media, proudly adding, “AYYYEEE!!! LET’S GO MAXIMUS @_JUSTBRYCE.”
The rising sophomore is the younger brother of another famous James face, Bronny James. However, Bryce, although the family resemblance of athletic prowess is completely apparent, is truly making a name for himself outside of that of his famous family.
Bryce has physically outgrown his older brother and is a top-notch 3-point shooter. And as only a sophomore, he definitely has more years to impress the masses on the court. We have no doubt that he is going to deliver in grand fashion!
There have not been any reports as to how much the young James will benefit financially from the new NIL Deal.
Congratulations, Bryce! We definitely have no doubt that this is just the beginning for you.
