Can you believe it? A few days ago, Maralee Nichols celebrated her son’s first birthday! Theo has officially reached his first birthday milestone!
“I can not believe you are already one. Spending the past 365 days with you have been the best days of my life. You are the sweetest little boy, your smile brightens up any room. You are my greatest blessing, my world, my heart in human form,” Nichols posted on Instagram.
She continued, “God knew I needed you. I love you more than anything. Happy 1st Birthday to my angel, Theo.”
The model shares Theo with NBA basketball player, Tristan Thompson. Thompson is also father to Khloe Kardashian’s two children: four-month-old son and four-year-old daughter, True. Additionally, the Boston Celtic shares five-year-old son Prince with ex-Jordan Craig.
If you remember, Thompson was in a relationship with Kardashian when it was rumored that he had fathered a child with another women. Thompson’s paternity was confirmed and he took to Instagram to address the situation.
“Paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,” Tristan said in a statement. “I take full responsibility for my actions,” he added. “Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son,” Thompson stated.
The NBA player also shared an open apology to Kardashian for his infidelity.
“Khloé, you don’t deserve this,” Tristan wrote in his apology. “You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry.”
In contrast, to a statement made by Nichols saying that Thompson was not providing any financial support for Theo, Thompson’s attorney provided an exclusive statement to US Weekly, saying that “[Tristan Thompson] “is paying, and has paid, child support to Ms. Nichols retroactive to the date she delivered the child.”
