The Combs sisters, Chance, and twins Jessie and D’Lila, are the new faces for the Glam-Aholics holiday collection, following full-force in the footsteps of their their famous father, rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Haven’t quite heard of Glam-Aholic‘s? Well, you are going to want to read up and then mark them as one of your favorites, because Mia Ray has found the perfect way to bring affordable luxury accessories to all.
The 38-year-old Detroit mother of two sits at the helm of a multi-million dollar business. Ray knew from the beginning that she wanted her brand to have unique market presence that set her apart from the masses.
“I just knew that I wanted to have a brand presence like Kimora Lee Simmons has with Baby Phat,” Ray said in an interview with Detroitnews.com. “I wanted to feel that ghetto-fabulousness. I wanted to put that out into the world and let women that were just like me, who looked like me, who is from where I am from, to be OK with having affordable luxury. That is what my blog was built on, it was built on how to take what you have and make yourself feel like a million bucks.”
For her upcoming holiday collection, Ray wanted to pay homage to something that she loves…Clueless. As a child of the 90s, loving pop culture, MTV, and the movie, Clueless, the entrepreneur decided to build a campaign around the classic.
“I had an idea of re-creating the movie “Clueless,” which is one of my favorite movies, but I’m 38 and I can’t be Cher and Dion, and I felt that the Comb sisters were the perfect trio to bring that to life.”
And she, of course was one hundred percent correct!
Fashion unquestionably runs through the Combs sister’s blood. They all are the daughters of rapper/fashionista Sean “Diddy” Combs. The twins are daughters of late mother, actress/model, Kim Porter. And Chance’s mother, Sarah Chapman, is also a model and businesswoman. It is without a doubt that the girls are perfect to be the faces of Glam-Aholic.
The new Glam-Aholic holiday collection, will debut on November 25. The Black Friday debut will feature new products like duffle bags, cosmetic pouches and tote bags.
