Black Adam is set to break the box office as it debuted theatrically last week. DC fans are singing the praises of the new movie. Starring alongside the anti-hero, Teth Adam, aka Black Adam, aka Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson, is rising star, Jalon Christian. Back in February of this year, we were introduced to this incredibly talented 15-year-old. Now, the world wants to know more, and via an exclusive interview with JustJaredJr.com, we are getting the inside scoop. Check out these ten fun facts about Black Adam star Jalon Christian.
Jalon is not an LA native. He’s an East-coast boy.
I am originally from Boston, and I’m a die-hard sports fan! I love the Celtics, Red Sox & Patriots! I got to see Paul Pierce‘s last game in the Garden and it was incredible.
Jalon doesn’t just watch sports, he plays them too.
Not only do I love watching sports, but I also play on the football, basketball & track teams at my high school. Go Celts!
Takis and Ramen are always on the menu.
My favorite foods are takis, ramen & warm buttered lobster rolls (you can take the kid out of New England…)
He and his younger brother both have popular names.
I have a younger brother named Jacoby, but my mom did NOT name us after the popular sports talk show, “Jalen & Jacoby.”
He’s an animal lover…especially dogs.
I love all animals, but especially dogs! We rescued our pup, Zuma, two years ago. She’s a black & white, short-haired pointer mix and she’s a very good girl!
Who can’t solve a Rubik’s cube?
I can solve a Rubik’s cube. I remember some older kids could do it at my school when I was little and I thought it was the coolest thing – so I practiced every single day until I finally got it!
Acting isn’t the only thing on his resume.
I’m always singing! My favorite genres are probably pop & hip hop, and my first ever live performance was in my school talent show at age 6. I sang “Rude” by MAGIC!
Lemons and limes are no match for Jalon’s taste buds.
I love acidic fruits and eat limes & lemons whole – not the peel obviously! We always have to buy extras when entertaining or there will be none left for the guests’ drinks.
Jalon’s style is definitely fashion-comfortable.
My current favorite fashion trend is wearing pajama pants, hoodies, & crocs no matter how warm it is outside!
Amusement parks are a must…for the rollercoasters.
I’m a huge fan of rollercoasters! I have a pass to Six Flags and any chance we get, my friends & I go for the day. Drop of Doom is definitely the scariest. It’s the tallest drop in the world at 415 feet!
In addition to DC’s Black Adam, Jalon’s professional acting resume includes: A Journal for Jordan, where he was directed by Denzel Washington; Selfie Dad; and Saving Christmas. Jalon’s performance in A Journal for Jordan earned him his first professional award nomination for Outstanding Breakthrough Performance in a Motion Picture at the 2022 NAACP Image Awards.
We cannot wait to see what is next for this talented young man. This is just the beginning of his rise up the ladder of success in Tinseltown.
