Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade are giving fans all the cuteness alongside their daughter, Kaavia James. The celebrity couple recently shared pictures with their little one that were nothing short of precious.
In the photos, Kaavia strikes a few poses while being held by her dad. Both Dwyane and Gabrielle give their daughter all of their attention in one candid as she gives the camera her undivided attention. “My heart is full,” Gabrielle Union told her social media fans.
Kaavia James has been taking extra lessons on confidence from her mom. It was just a few days ago that fans praised Gabrielle Union for encouraging her daughter to dance freely while the camera was rolling. Gabrielle has also made it a point to let her daughter wear her curls freely in an effort to instill self-love in Kaavia.
“Teaching @kaaviajames to love every part of herself is a full-time job with no days off but I approach it as an act of love,” Union recently said of her parenting approach. “From the time Black girls are born, folks are checking our ears and nail beds to see how dark we might be or the incessant commentary about what ‘grade’ of hair our kids might have. All our parts are up for discussion and oftentimes, scorn,” the actress shared.
“I want Kaav to feel beautiful and powerful in EVERY room she walks into no matter who is standing next to her,” Gabrielle told her social media fans. “Her beauty, her power, her love, is HERS. I want her to be free of Eurocentric beauty ideals and embrace all our glory. She will know that loving all of herself in no way diminishes the love that others have for themselves. Being unique and amazing arent qualities reserved for a few, they are our birthright and we claim it.”
Kaavia James is Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade’s only child together. Dwyane has four kids in all.
