Iggy Azalea and her son, Onyx Kelly, are a team. The ‘Problem’ rapper shared photos of her son at work with his mom on Saturday (Jul. 30).
Iggy appeared to be getting ready for a glam session when she decided to take a picture of herself with her son. Onyx held up the peace sign while sitting on his mom’s lap. “Me (sic) and my bestie go everywhere together,” Iggy told her social media fans. “Never not with me,” the recording artist shared.
Onyx Kelly is Iggy Azalea’s son with Playboi Carti. The celebrity parents welcomed their little one in 2020. Iggy and Playboi did not officially announce their expectancy, though many suspected Iggy’s pregnancy due to her absence from Instagram for months. Iggy gave birth privately months before debuting her son in October 2020. The rapper spoke with the press last year to discuss her life as a working mom.
“Honestly, it’s definitely really hard, but that makes it super fulfilling,” Azalea shared exclusively with PEOPLE. “I like to spend the whole day with my son, and he doesn’t go to bed until 7 o’clock. That’s when the clock starts for me, whether it’s in the studio or working on other creative projects. I don’t go to bed until 4:30 in the morning, and my son wakes up at 7:30.”
Onyx has quite a personality filled with loads of love and comedy. “He’s just a big goofball,” Iggy revealed. “He’s very curious, independent, inquisitive, and fun,” the rapper added. “He’s not worried about needing to have mom always there. He wants to run out and jump in the pool and jump off the couch. He’s crazy and fun,” Iggy shared with the press. “When new people come up, he’s not scared of them. He wants to meet them.”
Onyx Kelly is Iggy Azalea’s first child.
