We are putting it into the atmosphere right now…ten-year-old Jordan Hollins is headed for superstardom. The fifth grader from Shreveport, Louisiana went viral with his rendition of “A Change is Gonna Come”.

Hollins blew away not only the people in the audience with his incredible performance, which earned the young singer first place in the ArtBreak talent show, but it has also won him the hearts of social media users worldwide. The TikTok video of him singing Sam Cooke’s 1963 hit has been liked over 903K times, shared over 19K times and counting.
However, becoming a viral sensation was just the beginning for Hollins. As a result of winning the ArtBreak talent show, the talented preteen took home the top prize…$700.
And of course, the social media users had to congratulate Hollins on his performance.
One TikToker wrote, “This is like one of those videos in a documentary about a famous singer from before they get famous.”

After his Sam Cooke moment went viral at the talent show, Hollins was invited to be featured on The View where he performed with Gospel legend, Kirk Franklin in a special Juneteenth performance.
So, just what is Hollins up to now?
Well, the young singer is spending his time preparing for America’s Got Talent auditions. This amazing young man hopes to inspire other kids his age to go after achieving their dreams. In a recent interview, he gave the best advice not only for kids his age, but for us all: “If you keep on trying, you can go far.”
