Romeo Miller, Tytyana’s eldest brother, also shared the news on his sister’s death.
“Our family is dealing with an overwhelming grief for the loss of my little sister Tytyana,” Romeo wrote. “We respectfully request some privacy so that our family can grieve. We appreciate all of the prayers, love, and support, and although this is sad times, I’m forever grateful for the memories I did have with my amazing sister. Love on your loved ones, life is short.”
He continued, “The silver lining, I know she’s in a way better place and finally at peace. God Bless.”
Tytyana revealed her battle with substance abuse during an episode of Growing Up Hip Hop (GUHH) in 2016. Master P tried to persuade his daughter to seek professional help for her problem at the time. “I think we should get some professional help just to make sure you stay on track,” Master P told his daughter during a scene of the episode. The celebrity father further delved into the situation during a separate interview segment on the show.
“I really hope that TaTa is serious about making a change,” Master P shared. “By us doing this with my daughter hopefully we’ll send that same message to her mom,” the celebrity father continued in reference to Tytyana’s mom, Sonya Miller, who was also reportedly battling substance abuse at the time. “You know, if you need to get help, we’re here for you,” Master P concluded.
Tytyana appeared to have gotten control of her addiction as she took her father’s advice to seek professional help.
In all, Master P has nine kids, seven of whom are with his ex-wife Sonya C. Miller. The pair married in 1989 and have been estranged from each other for over ten years. Recently, a judge declared the 52-year-old legally single from his estranged wife. Divorce is still pending.
