Offset welcomed his first child, Jordan Cephus, when he was just 17 years old.
“The journey of fatherhood was kind of tough for me at first,” Offset told Haute Living in February of this year. “I was trying to find myself. I didn’t have much direction on what it meant to be a father. I definitely made some mistakes, but I have no regrets. It’s challenging when you have a career like this and you’re constantly on the road. It makes it tough to see your kids, especially when they’re young. Now that I’m older, though, I’m learning my way.”

In 2019, the Migos rapper reunited with his own father after 23 years of being apart. “Fatherhood was missing in my life and sometimes I have to be missing for work but it all come back to the little ones. I’m setting them up for the future,” he explained in a tweet. “I didn’t take the cleanest route to success. I ran into walls and hurdles but I overcame them. I’m proud of me!!!”
Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendell Cephus, is dad to daughter Kalea, 6, and sons Kody, 6, and Jordan, 11, from previous relationships. He also has daughter Kulture and a 3-month-old baby boy with wife Cardi B. The ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper recently shared during an interview that her husband is a “hands-on” father.
“He is definitely hands on,” Cardi B said. “Sometimes he just gets too hands on. I be like, ‘Listen, I got it. I know what I’m doing, too. This ain’t my first rodeo anymore,’ ” she joked.
