Nick Cannon’s biggest fear as a parent is not having enough time to spend with his kids. The talk show host recently shared his concerns during an interview with Entertainment Tonight (ET).
“When I can cut out a certain aspect of my lifestyle and focus on children and work, it makes it a lot easier,” Nick revealed.
Nick Cannon recently launched his talk show, Nick Cannon, which added to his long list of jobs in the entertainment industry. Cannon also welcomed three children earlier this year. The little ones made him the father of seven kids.
Some have suggested Nick Cannon stop having kids after welcoming four children in less than a year’s time. Even the celebrity father’s therapist suggested celibacy given Nick’s unique family, which includes having kids with more than one woman at a time.
Nick is presently taking the advice of his therapist with celibacy. The star has not, however, made a definite decision to stop expanding his family.
“This is probably the issue of when you’re in an unorthodox situation,” Cannon shared with Entertainment Tonight. “Unlike being in a marriage [where] it’s really controlled and you can really understand like, ‘Alright, we got about this amount of time and we gonna have kids up to this point,’ so you can kinda monitor it,” the celebrity father explained. “But when you’re a single individual, I don’t know if I’ll fall in love in five years. I don’t know if I’ll fall in love tomorrow.”
Nick Cannon has two kids, Monroe and Moroccan, with his ex-wife, Mariah Carey. He also has two kids, Golden and Powerful Queen, with Brittany Bell. Nick welcomed twins, Zion and Zillion, with businesswoman Abby De La Rosa in June. He welcomed his youngest son, Zen, whom he parents with Wild ‘N Out model Alyssa Scott, the next month.
