DaniLeigh is safe with her baby girl after a tumultuous weekend with DaBaby. The ‘Easy’ singer took to Instagram Stories to give her fans an update on Monday (Nov. 16).
“I left and me and my baby [are] safe,” DaniLeigh told her Instagram followers. “Thank y’all for the support,” the celebrity mom said.
Much of the drama between DaniLeigh and DaBaby unfolded on social media this past weekend. DaniLeigh was addressing her supporters when DaBaby came into the room to interrupt her with news that both she and their baby had to leave.
“We’ve been living with each other for the past three months since our baby been (sic) born,” DaniLeigh told her fans after the intense video clip went viral. “Tonight he wanna come in the room talkin’ about ‘I need to go, don’t matter where I go,'” DaniLeigh said of the situation. “Mind you, I have a newborn child. So he said I can go to a hotel … This man is mad because I had a plan B sent to his condo.”
DaBaby gave his own statement about suffering physical and verbal abuse at the hands of DaniLeigh after allegedly ending their relationship as intimate partners. “I done (sic) been beat on and yelled at and chased around like one of them Fatal Love Attraction type girls. But I knew to keep it together,” the rapper said during an Instagram Live segment.
DaBaby ultimately called the police on his daughter’s mother, which caused DaniLeigh to have assault charges filed against her. The ‘No Limits’ singer did not take her break from the Internet without clearing the air about a few things.
“I didn’t leave the house bc I’m in Charlotte,” Dani told her supporters. “I have no friends/family out there and I ain’t walking outside exposing [my daughter] and myself looking crazy with luggages (sic),” she added. “My assistant flew in so I could catch a flight that was later. But I wanted to go to [DaBaby’s] house to grab baby’s clothes. He said ‘Na.’ Then he went live,” DaniLeigh further explained.
“I needed to clear that [up] so y’all don’t think I’m jus sitting there while someone ‘kicking me and my baby out,'” the celebrity mom continued. “Done dragging this,” Dani declared. “Unless someone else wanna say some cause I’m defending myself on everything. I’m done. I’m sorry. Off the internet. I can’t see all this. Focusing on my girl. I’m quiet.”
