Tamron Hall had quite the reaction to learning that she and her husband, Steve Greener, were having a son. The talk show host shared her story during a recent episode of the podcast Me Becoming Mom.
“I started crying because I saw all of my fashion future float [away],” Tamron said of her reaction upon learning that she was going to have a son. “That sounds so vain, but it’s true,” Hall admitted. “And my husband said, ‘I will one day tell Moses that you did that.’ I’m like, ‘No, it’s just tears! I visualize myself walking around with a little girl dressed exactly like me!'”
Tamron Hall and Steve Greener welcomed their son, Moses Greener, on April 25, 2019. The little one made his mom and dad parents for the first time to their delight. Tamron struggled with infertility for years, which led the talk show host to contemplate the notion of being unable to have a child by traditional means. Hall conceived Moses at 48-years-old and decided to remain quiet about her pregnancy until she was well into her final trimester.
Tamron admitted during a previous interview that preparing for a son was initially intimidating. “Now that I have a son, and I don’t like to get into gender labels — but it’s funny now that I have a son, I could not imagine anything other than what I have,” Hall shared during her latest segment on Me Becoming Mom.
Moses Greener grew his fanbase to extraordinary levels during the pandemic. The youngster served as his mom’s unofficial co-host when the Tamron Hall Show aired from the comforts of the Greeners’ home during the lockdowns. Many asked Tamron to bring her son on the show as a sort of regular when episodes began filming in the studio once more. Tamron and Steve, however, remain committed to shielding their son from too much spotlight.
