Rapper Freeway is mourning the death of his daughter, Harmony, just one year after losing his son, Jihad. The recording artist took to Instagram this past weekend the share the tragic news of his 21-year-old daughter’s untimely passing.
Freeway uploaded a video clip that showed Harmony dancing at her birthday celebration earlier this year. “You know the saying sugar and spice and everything nice, well that’s my Harmony,” Freeway wrote in the caption section of his post. “I promise y’all she was the sweetest most kind most caring generous loving adorable person I know,” the celebrity father said of his daughter.
“Allah Really blessed me putting her in my life,” Freeway continued. “I love her so much and this hurts so bad,” the recording artist shared. “The only thing that’s giving me comfort is I know 100% that she believes in Allah and she was a good person. I truly believe she has everything it takes to enter into heaven.”
Freeway lost his son to an accidental drug overdose. Jihad received assistance for his addiction to opiods and initially appeared to be on a path that would lead him away from his challenges. Freeway’s son, however, experienced a relapse last year that ultimately led to his untimely death. Harmony was diagnosed with cancer in September 2020.
“From my understanding of religion and Islam, I truly believe in my heart of hearts that Harmony will make it to Paradise, so that brings me Joy,” Freeway shared with his social media fans on Monday (Oct. 25). “I’m just so sad because I miss her so much,” the celebrity father revealed.
“Have you ever been around a person that no matter what they’re going through they’re still always happy smiling and Hopeful? Well, that’s Harmony! Looking through my phone I can’t find a pic when she’s not smiling! Even in hospital beds! I Love her so much! it’s (sic) a Big hole in my heart.”
