Netflix fans rejoice! Family Reunion has been renewed for shortened third & final season.
Family Reunion has been a staple on the streaming giant for now two seasons. It was recently announced that the multicam comedy will wrap with 10 episodes. In addition, Adrienne Carter (Everybody Hates Chris) and Arthur Harris (Living Single) will take over as showrunners for creator Meg DeLoatch, who has left the show, although she will still be involved with the final season, to run the CBS hit show, The Neighborhood. Robert Prinz will executive produce the final season.
“I am so excited that Family Reunion will be returning for a third season,” said DeLoatch in an interview with Deadline. “I will always be grateful to Netflix for giving me the opportunity to finally tell my story and the platform to share the beautiful, loving and joyous McKellan family with the world.”
