Giannis Antetokounmpo and his pregnant girlfriend, Mariah Riddlesprigger of Sincerely Mariah, are in full celebration mode. The celebrity couple commemorated Giannis and the Milwaukee Bucks NBA championship at the city’s championship parade last week. The family also commemorated Mariah’s pregnancy.
Mariah and Giannis welcomed their son, Liam, last February. The little one arrived weeks before the coronavirus pandemic shuttered businesses and changed policies at hospitals. Mariah launched her wellness brand, Sincerely Mariah, shortly after giving birth to Liam.
“My precious son has given me a sense of purpose I never knew I had in me,” the businesswoman told her social media fans. “I mean what crazy person decides to start a new journey three months postpartum,” Riddlesprigger asked. “Having him has been the extra inspiration I needed to get started,” Mariah declared.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA championship on July 20, 2021. The win was the first for the Bucks since 1971. Giannis, in many ways, significantly helped lead his team to victory. The athlete scored 50 points during Game 6 of the championship series.
“This is for my mom,” Antetokounmpo told the press after the Bucks won the championship. “She works extremely hard every day for me to be in this position, and she never pressured me to do other things,” the star athlete shared.
“This is for my dad. He’s watching from above, and he can see it. This is for my significant other. Every day, she helps me be a better person. She lets me do what I’m supposed to do. She takes care of my son. And for my brothers.”
