Ludacris is a girl dad from his heart. The celebrity tells PEOPLE exclusively how he and his wife, Eudoxie Bridges, are preparing for their second child.
“There’s a lot of estrogen around here,” Ludacris shares. “Luckily, I have 22 acres of land, so I’m able to step outside and clear my head every now and then,” the celebrity father reveals. “Then when I come back in, I’m loving them and hugging them the same way as if I went out of town.”
For the most part, Ludacris has been at home these past 14 months. The coronavirus pandemic with its subsequent lockdowns kept the celebrity father and his family indoors.
“It’s been a great break,” Ludacris tells PEOPLE. “Family has always been my number one focus, but, of course, I have to get out there and provide for them,” the celebrity father admits. “This past year has made me focused on figuring out businesses that allow me to work while also spending more time with my family.”
Spending more time at home has given many blessings, which includes the family’s expansion. Ludacris and Eudoxie shared the news of their expectancy last month. The celebrities took to Instagram to announce Eudoxie’s pregnancy on her birthday.
“How is it YOUR Birthday and You’re Giving Me The Greatest Gift,” Ludacris asked his wife on Eudoxie’s birthday. “Joyeux Anniversaire, Mrs. Bridges,” the celebrity father said.
In addition to expanding his family, Ludacris is also building a new platform called KidNation. Launched in June 2020, KidNation aims to educate kids on happenings in the world with catchy songs.
Ludacris relies on his daughters – Cadence, Cai, and Karma – to help him create songs that kids want to hear. “They’re the perfect test group,” the celebrity father tells PEOPLE. “When you think about kids’ music, it doesn’t sound like the music that kids are actually listening to,” he explains.
“We all know kids love popular music, the stuff that’s on the charts, just as much, if not more, than a lot of the music that’s designated for them. So I figured why not take the melodies and the beats that kids love about adult music and put it in the kids’ music?”
