Aja Naomi King is loving the skin she’s in. The How To Get Away With Murder star took to Instagram to celebrate her post-childbirth body days after she welcomed her son.
“No, this is not a pregnancy Before picture,” Aja shared with her Instagram fan. The actress also uploaded pictures of herself posing while wearing a bathing suit. “This is the After,” King said. “After days of labor. After experiencing what felt like my insides being ripped apart, no lie. After experiencing the unimaginable beauty of childbirth, this is what is left behind. This Gorgeous Body!”
Aja Naomi King announced her expectancy of a child in March. The news came after the actress suffered two miscarriages.
“I really can’t begin to express the fullness of our immense joy to be welcoming a baby into our family,” Aja told her social media fans. “With that, I also want to express that this beautiful journey has not been devoid of heartbreak,” King revealed.
“I suffered two miscarriages and even now trying to capture what it felt like in words is simply absurd to me because I will never have language enough for it,” the celebrity said. “I’m so grateful that I was able to get pregnant and sustain this pregnancy, and I’m hoping for a safe and happy birth.”
Aja had a successful labor and delivery experience, which caused her to be in awe of her body’s capabilities. “In celebration of myself and my body for ‘Doing the D*mn Thing,’ I wanted to share this photo,” Aja told her Instagram fans this past weekend. “No make-up, no editing, no filters (and you know I love a filter!)…Just Me…a woman in awe of her Body and her Baby,” the celebrity exclaimed.
Aja Naomi King did not reveal details pertaining to her son. The little one is the actress’s first child.
