Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, and Beyonce of Destiny’s Child reunited for a time of fun and memories earlier this week. The celebrities were sure to take a picture with Kelly’s youngest son, Noah Jon Weatherspoon, who was the center of attention in the picture.
“Checking In Group Chat,” Kelly told her social media fans. “Everybody’s in the ‘kitchen,'” the celebrity mom exclaimed in the caption section of the audio clip.
Kelly Rowland has previously spoken about Beyonce and Michelle meeting her newborn son. “The girls were literally over here at the house just recently and when they met the baby it was like another part of my heart just … Being able to share space with Michelle and Bey is truly a gift,” Rowland shared in February.
“It’s really a gift because we’ve known each other for so long and the industry doesn’t really make friendships,” Kelly continued. “It’s the nature of it, and we still have each other after all these years,” the celebrity said. “And I’m just so grateful for them and they are a highlight of my life.”
Kelly and Beyonce are currently working alongside Michelle Williams to promote her new book, Checking In: How Getting Real About Depression Saved My Life — And Can Save Yours. The book, which debuted earlier this week, shares details about Michelle’s journey to wellness after checking in to treat the depression that ruled much of her life since age 13.
“Kelly and I feel so honored we are now your safe space where you can express any and everything,” Beyonce said during the group chat session with Kelly and Michelle earlier this week. “We know you are that for us, and you’ve always been that for us, so we’re just happy to be along this journey and happy to witness the birth in your new chapter,” Bey told Michelle.
