Toya Johnson enjoyed the weekend with her favorite girls. The celebrity mom shared pictures from her Sunday outing with her daughters, Reginae Carter and Reign Rushing.
Toya and her girls were dressed to impress. The celebrity mom wore a beautiful outfit that matched her youngest daughter’s skirt. Reginae wore a tan outfit. “My girls,” Toya told her social media fans. “My world,” the celebrity mom added.
Both Toya and Reginae enjoy the strong mother-daughter bond they have established. The two recently sat down with Black Enterprise to talk about their relationship.

“I had Reginae at a very young age—and I’m always trying to school her on things that I had to learn,” Toya shared. “Some things I learned the hard way. Some things I learned from older people that shared knowledge with me,” Johnson explained. “And, I always pass it down to my daughter because I want her to win. I think she has so much potential and I’m always here to support her in each and every business move that she makes.”
Reginae has certainly learned a lot about business from her mom. “My mom has always told and shown me that if you want to do something, do it on your own,” Carter shared with Black Enterprise. “You don’t have to call anybody, just figure it out — or look it up,” the young entrepreneur added. “She’s always told me to be educated. There’s nothing more attractive than an educated Black woman.”
Reginae Carter began her collegiate education at Clark University. She decided to end her undergraduate studies to pursue a career in acting in 2017. Reginae announced her first major gig in 2018. The young adult starred in Pride and Prejudice: Atlanta in 2019. Carter also starred in Ray J’s TV One film, Dear Santa, I Need A Date the same year.
Reginae celebrates her twenty-third birthday in November. Reign Rushing turned 3-years-old in February.
