Ciara and Russell Wilson hosted a day of fun at their home on Easter Day. On Sunday, the couple invited Vanessa Bryant and her kids over for a day of festivities.
Vanessa Bryant and her daughters Natalia, 17, Bianka, 4, and Capri, 1, wore their Sunday’s best for the gathering as did the entire Wilson family, including youngest members Sienna,3, Win,8 months, and Future Zahir,6.
Ciara shared a recap of the Easter festivities on her Instagram page on April 6. The sweet clip showed the kids hunting for Easter eggs and the adults doing an egg-and-spoon race. “What a Lovely Day,” she captioned.
Vanessa also took to her Instagram to share highlights from the Easter celebration. She shared several video clips and wrote under one:
“Thank you @ciara and @dangerusswilson for hosting the most amazing Easter celebration. We had the best time. You outdid yourselves. We love you so much! So thankful for you guys.”
Bryant later shared a photo of daughter Capri Bryant looking off into the distance like her late dad, Kobe Bryant.
“It’s the KOBE stare for me~Capri Kobe. Daddy and Gigi’s twin.” Vanessa captioned the snap.
It’s been a little over a year since Kobe Bryant and daughter Gianna tragically died in a helicopter crash in January of 2020.
After the tragic death of the Los Angeles Lakers legend and his 13-year-old daughter, Ciara was one of the people who quickly stepped in to support Vanessa and her children.
The singer previously said of the widow, “Seeing you and the girls smile makes my heart smile,” wrote Ciara, 34. “You’re the toughest mama I know. Seeing you put one foot forward each day is admirable. “It ain’t easy, but if I know one thing, Mamba Queen’s capable of it all,” she added. “Love you”.
