Introducing Hunter Zoelle James, the daughter of Zonnique Pullins and Bandhunta Izzy (real name Israel James). Hunter , who was born on December 15th, 2020, has never been seen until now.
It was Zonnique’s mom, Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris, who first announced Hunter’s arrival. Tiny wrote via social media,”Congratulations to my 1st my LuvBug @zonniquejailee. My Gbaby is so fat & cute!! Just as I dreamed she would be!! I told y’all Today was a very Blessed day straight frm God!”
Zonnique recently revealed in an Instagram live session that her mom had a part to play in naming her daughter.
“I was going to do Zoelle Hunter James; then my mom was trying to act like it sounded better being like Hunter Zoelle James. Anyway, her name was going to be Hunter for the longest,” she said during her video. “I put it in Izzy’s hands because people was driving me crazy. I’m like ‘Izzy, it’s whatever you want.’ Zoelle was what he wanted, so I’m telling my mom like ‘Cool it with the Hunter’…’Stop trying to throw Hunter down everybody’s throat. It’s Zoelle, and we can just make Hunter her middle name.’
She conitnued, “Probably two weeks before I was going to the hospital to have her, Izzy said he wanted her name to be Hunter. So Hunter Zoelle James it is, but y’all can call her Zoelle if y’all want. If ya’ll just so in love with the name I made up I don’t mind that. I don’t mind that at all…She has nothing that says Hunter on it.”
During a recent segment with Fox Soul, Zonnique decided to share a few details about her labor and delivery experience. “So it wasn’t what I was expecting,” the new mom shared.
“I’d say it was a lot easier than what I expected,” Zonnique continued. “My water broke, I was really happy about that y’all. I wanted my water to break. So that was very exciting for me and it was pretty smooth. I feel like my baby was like, very close down. I did not have to push for long but that epidural. Ladies! You need it, I’m not even going to lie, the epidural made me feel a whole lot better, that’s all I am going to say.”
