Congratulations to Khadijah Haqq McCray and her husband, Bobby McCray, on the arrival of their third child. Khadijah took to Instagram on Sunday (Jan. 17) to announce the arrival of the newest member of the family.
“We love you, baby girl,” Khadijah wrote to her newborn daughter. “You complete our family,” Haqq-McCray exclaimed. “When 5 becomes 6,” Khadijah shared.
The McCrays announced their expectancy of a child last August. “I’m pregnant,” Khadijah told her social media fans. “I couldn’t wait to share that my family is growing and we will soon welcome a new baby in our home,” the star shared.
Khadijah told her fans in November that she was ordered to stay on bed rest after experiencing complications. “I didn’t share right away because the most important thing was that myself (sic) and the baby were healthy,” the celebrity mom told her supporters. “I had a pre-term labor scare a few weeks ago and was hospitalized,” Khadijah said. “I’m home on bedrest now, feeling good, and so thankful for my doctors.”
Khadijah Haqq and Bobby McCray’s newborn daughter are the couple’s third child together. The little one made him a father for the fourth time.
Khadijah and Bobby’s daughter will grow up alongside her nephew who Khadijah’s sister, Malika Haqq, welcomed last March. Malika described giving birth without her twin sister in the room during their Side By Side Show on Facebook.

“The idea of not having [Khadijah] in the room, my mom, or anyone else,” Malika revealed. “I felt like the hospital was a jail,” the actress added. “I’ve been so present for [Khadijah] and my best friends’ deliveries. To not have that myself, to put it lightly, it sucked.”
Malika gave birth to her son without her sister in the room because of coronavirus restrictions that do not allow anyone outside of the father-to-be in the delivery room. Khadijah Haqq welcomed her and her husband’s daughter in the same manner this past weekend.
