Lil Scrappy’s wife, Bambi, had a unique labor and delivery experience last year. The Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta (LHHATL) star talks about her pregnancy and giving birth to her and Scrappy’s daughter, Xylo Richardson, in the middle of a pandemic.
“At the beginning of my pregnancy, Scrap was able to come with me to the doctor’s visits,” Bambi shares with VH1 fans. “Towards the middle, which was around April, he was no longer able to go with me to the doctor’s visits. So I would have to FaceTime him sometimes.”

Bambi and Lil Scrappy shared the news of their expectancy months before the coronavirus global health crisis led to significant changes in society. Expectant couples went from attending doctor check-ins together to fathers having to attend the meetings virtually from their cars in the hospital’s parking lot.
“I felt like he was kind of missing out a little bit because there were the ultrasounds, and all that stuff, that he would want to be there for,” Bambi says of the changes and their effects on Scrappy. “When we actually went to the hospital to deliver, he was the only one allowed to be there,” the LHHATL star shares.
Bambi delivered a healthy daughter last August, despite the challenges surrounding her. “Xylo is very alert,” the celebrity mom says of her daughter. “She was literally lifting her head up the day we brought her home from the hospital,” the LHHATL star dotes.
“She holds her head up,” Bambi continues. “She doesn’t like to lay down at all. She likes to sit straight up. She’s just very alert. She wants to be a part of whatever is going on around her.”
Xylo is Bambi and Lil Scrappy’s youngest child. The celebrity couple also has a son named Breland who, according to his mom, recently entered the “Terrible Twos” stage. In addition to their younger children, Lil Scrappy has an older daughter named Emani with LHHATL star Erica Dixon who Bambi considers her bonus child.
